It's sad that because it is a very rare disorder there are people that claim this is acted, it disgusts me so much how easily others can dismiss someone's disorder. Do research and shut it, you'll never know for sure it it's real or not, but your job isn't to be the medical police, why risk to add more to their condicion and struglles?

I want to stop being narcissistic, I had a perfect life and lost everything hurting everyone close to me to the point they push me away after many years of tolerance, now everything that was easy for me is hard almost impossible, loosing my friends and family got me highly depressed, I can not sleep and had no energy for regular life daily tasks or my baby, thanks for your content

Ok, this is a true story. 2 days ago i was scrolling through my youtube reccommendations and i happen upon a video called "living with schizophrenia" so having a few aqaintances in my past who had suffered from this condition i wished to learn more. Bloody hell i found so many correlations in my own life it was like a revelation. On delving a bit deeper i watched some of the psychiatry films from the 50's. I would usually be swearing by now but the films i saw looked like a mirror. I am 56 and despite presenting to GP's on numerous occaisions the signs i always ran away before i could be diagnosed. I think i felt i could work out what was wrong with myself. Due to procrastination and a various set of coincidences i learned about philosophy, history and cosmology. My first love though, the thing that makes me most happy is well crafted words. Give me a good audiobook and i'm happy. RIP Terry Pratchett. x

I am lying here crying as I’m watching this. Not one for labels, but appreciating this one of betrayal trauma. I remember when my counselor first brought up the word betrayal. And I finally started to realize what was happening inside me. Every. Single. Second. Of this video…Describes how I feel after the trauma of the last couple years, and it just doesn’t seem to stop even though it’s not technically in my immediate reach anymore. The betrayal hurts more than anything but even more is the confusion, the shame, the self doubt. It’s beyond ptsd. Beyond depression. Beyond anxiety. It is horrific. When she says ‘you had a house and now you don’t have a house anymore.’ Yeah. That.

My 31 year old daughter has BPD and its absolutely terrifying to live with her. She has burned all her bridges, has no job prospects, is the mother of a 4 year old whom she threatens to send to the father every time she doesnt get what she wants. She despises me but has no problem living off me and making my life a living hell. Talking to her about getting into a program just enhances the rage. I am a nurse by profession and I honestly feel that a bloody good hiding would be her best therapy. The lies are constant, the promiscuity out of orbit, the sense of entitlement out of this world. It has got to the point where I am planning my own disappearance just to live out my years in peace.

"Mental Health" is literally the life of the soul or "Spiritual Health " No medicine can touch the soul. It can only disable the body. So Mental Health comes down to the soul uniting itself with God. Saint Paul says " I live, now not I, but Christ liveth in me." This is a healthy soul. In comparison, today's society denies Christ, commits adultery, fornicators, liars, thieves, murderers, abortion murders, and sin on top of sin. All a therapist can do is help you drown your conscience and encourage a person to mask the cause of their unstable spiritual life. Helping people to mask their sins which remain unforgiven. Without reconciling with God, these "therapists" will continue to profit . They feed off the sinful lives of others.

My next door neighbour apparently has BPD. She has made my life a misery for the last 4 years. She is triggered very easily and it is impossible to reason with her or negotiate with her. She will find any excuse to cause trouble even when I am away on holiday and the house is empty. I have tried ignoring her but that doesn’t work either. Her father recently punched her in the face twice and caused a nasty bruise on her face. She reported me to the police for assault and said it was a hate crime. None of which was true. I was arrested despite never being in trouble with the police before or any evidence of lesbophobia. I was held in a police cell for 14 hours before I was released without charge. I don’t know whether that is typical BPD behaviour but that is an accurate account of what happened and she is still next door and still causing trouble. She is renting the house but the landlord has done nothing even though he is fully aware of the problem.

I disagree. Not every psychopath is narcissistic. More accurately there’s possible overlap from psychopathy, but not always. Narcissism is narrative driven. It’s about a concocted story of who a person is. Not all psychopaths care to do that. Psychopaths are principle based. Dark principles. They’ll see another person as an object or have an intense goal. They don’t necessarily care about the narrative. It’s, “I can’t log into my operating system to use what I need to use for my goal”. A psychopath couldn’t care less what a room full of people think about them if something is in the way of their goal. Think Michael Myers. You think he cares what Loomis or Lorie Strode think of him? No. If anyone, or anything gets in his way, it’s destroyed. Even a dog that’s barking and inhibiting his stealth as he stalks the next victim. A narcissist only cares about the narrative they are crafting. They very rarely adhere to any sort of principles good or bad. If anything inhibits their constructed identity, they change a part of the story to fit or make themselves more grandiose. Very little to no principles. This is why a narcissist will either benefit a psychopath or if they cross each other, the narcissistic will REALLY piss off a psycho to the point of calamity. The psycho will see right through all of the narrative bs and cut straight to the point. They waste a lot of time or energy on narrative.

I am in narcissistic abuse this very moment, at the hands of my mother. I have dealing with a medical condition That has left me unable to walk at this time, but I am working on it. She is trying to stop me from getting well. From poisoning my food, stealing medication so that I can't take them, she sabatoges any effort I make, to get out of this situation. She is trying to keep me stuck; so that I will stay here with her, and not move on with my life. Is there a way out?

It’s hard for us narcissists to change and I’ll share my theory why in case it helps. I was raised by two of them I know how harmful we can be and for what it’s worth, I’m sorry. So, why is it hard for us to change? Because narcissists generally drive people away. The more isolated we become the more we become a closed system… systems theory states that a closed system, one which exchanges nothing with the outside world, will eventually collapse in on itself. I’m living with my consequences, and what a teacher. There’s too much narcissism in the world on a grand scale so I’m sharing

I've never heard a valid argument in favor of capitalism. Proponents of capitalism only ever try to implement gaslighting and/or logical fallacies. Really. Try to have a sane, civil, honest conversation with any proponent of capitalism, and they'll prove my point. But if you like all manner products within the capitalst matrix, if you own a business, and have employees. and you still want a much more sane and harmonious economic system, You're Not A Fucking Hypocrite. Don't let them silence you with that weak argument . It would be just as ridiculous to argue that one is a hypocrite for drinking city tap water, when they had no other options , and therefore one shouldn't be able consider better sources of water. Narcissistic personality disorder is an epedemic. And when they project "well the problem is nobody wants to work. " Ask them what landlords even fucking do . Ask them what the CEO of Starbucks actually does . Etc. No shade at seasons of nondoership. But shade @ projection.
